I already own my domain. How do I tie it to my Magntize account?
If your get your domain through us at Magntize, it'll automatically work without any configuration on your part. However, if you already own the domain that you want your Magntize site to sit on, there are a few settings that you'll need to adjust with whoever you bought the domain through. But fear not. We made a page just to help walk you through the process.
To The TopDoes Magntize include an area on the site where I can add blog posts, videos, music, etc?
To make Magntize as versatile and flexible as possible, we've integrated with third-party sites that focus on their area of expertise (photos, videos, file sharing, etc). Rather than re-create an application that already exists, we designed Magntize to serve as a hub for all of your web content. You simply engage with any of the hundreds of social/media/file-sharing sites available and add these links to your Magntize page. If the site manager detects an RSS feed on any of these links, the latest content will automatically be displayed on your Magntize site without any additional work on your part. This keeps your Magntize site continuously updated and fresh.
To The TopWhat types of domains are included on Magntize Pro accounts?
Pro accounts include the option of receiving a single .com, .net, .org, .name, .biz, or .info domain name of your choice, provided that the domain name you requested is available for purchase when our system attempts to acquire it (typically within one hour).
To The TopWhen am I charged?
We offer a free Basic account for life. If you elect to upgrade your account to the paid Pro account your credit card will be charged immediately for the first month or year's worth of Service based on the billing period you select; Your credit card will be charged automatically for each month or year thereafter until you downgrade to a Basic account or cancel your service entirely by accessing our Account Administration Panel.
To The TopCan I transfer my domain away from Magntize?
Domains registered by Magntize as a part of Pro accounts remain the property of Magntize until you request in writing that the domain be transferred to a registrar of your choosing. You will need to pay any pro-rated domain registration fees of $1.25 per month of unpaid Pro service for the current 12 month domain registration period. For example, if you have paid for 4 months of Pro service and would like to transfer your domain to another registrar, you will be required to pay $10.00 ($1.25 x 8 months remaining in the domain's registration period).
To The TopCan I get a refund on a Magntize Pro account?
No, we do not provide refunds but we do offer a free Basic account for life. If you elect to upgrade your account to the paid Pro account your credit card will be charged immediately for the first month (or year's worth of service) based on the billing period you select.
